About Elpoir
Most salons in India still run on a paper diary and a phone that rings during a haircut. Elpoir exists to change that — to put the diary, the staff, the takings and the customers of an ordinary neighbourhood salon into software that costs nothing to use.
Our Mission
To digitalise the salon industry in India — not the top end of it, all of it. A single-chair studio in a side lane should have the same booking, staff and sales tools as a chain, and should not have to pay a monthly subscription to get them. Walk-in and phone bookings stay free forever, because those are how most salons in the country actually take work.
Why Free?
Because a subscription is the reason most salons never start. So there is no subscription, no per-seat fee and no locked features. We earn in two places instead: promotion, when a salon wants to be seen ahead of the ones around it — and Salon Points earned on completed bookings pay for that — and a commission when a customer chooses to pay online. A salon that takes cash at the counter and never promotes pays us nothing, and that is a salon we are still glad to have.
